I packed up my life in Texas and moved halfway across the country to LA to pursue a career in acting. I know. This is shocking. No one has ever done such a thing before.

In all seriousness, it has been quite a journey. I’ve faced successes and failures. Some yeses. Many nos. There have been days of despair and those of great hope. But through it all, my passion for acting and for storytelling prevails.

I truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

There’s a quote I love by Harold Whitman that says this:

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Creativity makes me come alive. Acting. Writing. Music. They feed my soul. Fill my heart. Bring me so much joy... But that joy cannot compare to the only true and lasting joy I have found in Christ.

Whether or not I have worldly success, my purpose and goal is to glorify Christ in all that I do.

I want to let others in on my journey - of struggles and hardships, of health and holistic healing, of hope and faith. The messy parts, the beautiful parts, the heartaches and pain, and everything in between.

John Piper says it well:

"When people are involved in each other's lives, more thanksgiving rises to God when any of them is blessed."

However you found your way here, and whatever words you read, my desire is that they will inspire you, fill you with hope, and ultimately point you back to the Creator of all things, the giver of life, and the author of the greatest story every told.
